M: The Intern

Robert De Niro -- the only reason why I DVR'd this on HBO. I have no idea what this film is all about. Then I was surprised to find my old flame Rene Russo in it. ;)  The film was better than I expected. 

M: Woman in Gold

On the day that Elie Wiesel died, I grabbed my remote and went to Netflix, scanned through my queue and zeroed in on Raiders of the Lost Art, a documentary series that I have been watching intermittently for the past months. Season 2 Episode 2 focused on Gustav Klimt and his Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I. Afterwards, I switched on my DVR and played its latest entry without knowing what it was about. It turned out to be the film Woman In Gold, about Maria Altmann, the niece of the aforementioned painting's subject, who succesfully sued the Government of Austria to reclaim the masterpiece. I don't believe in coincidences but...
