How did an Afghan War Vet with PTSD end up as a Bodyguard to the British Home Secretary? Kidding aside, this six-episode series thrills.

M: The Little Drummer Girl

Another Le Carré on AMC. Two episodes into this Park Chan-wook directed thriller miniseries and I am loving it. I read the novel in high school and remember liking it. On the other hand, I’ve watched the 1984 movie adaptation on betamax and remember not liking it. In fact, I have already forgotten everything about the film but after more than 30 years I would like to rewatch it and see if my verdict still holds to this day.

M: Ozark

One of the better shows I’ve encountered on Netflix. Binge watched Season 1 in my hotel room when I was in the Philippines in July as sleep was eluding me. Season 2 was released at the end of August and I caught up with it five days later.

In August, I joined two incompetent detectives, a Swede and a British, who tried to solve the murder of an Englishman in a “shitty little town” called Norrbacka that is populated by “17,000 idiots” and had a good.
