B.M.S.

An American POW who became a member of the Yakuza in post-war Japan. But Jared Leto’s bad acting and flimsy story line made this a middle-of-the-road film. The only reason I watched this until the end is because parts of the dialogue were in Nihongo. 

Anne Curtis getting down and dirty to fight them bad guys is a welcome change for her. Even so, this is a pretty silly movie.

she’s not Lisbeth Salander here, but a badass nonetheless. Mediocre plot though. 

done with the 4 episodes. there really isn’t anything here that i didn’t already know before about him and his crimes.

the first few episodes were interesting then it became yawn producing as it went along. still, i plodded on and binge watched the 10-part series for lack of a better alternative on a dreary Saturday night, since I was too lazy to do anything except hunker down on the couch wrapped in warm blankets to fight off the winter cold.
